About Me
Specializing in tech/literacy, Todd Finley, PhD, is an Associate Professor of English Education at East Carolina University in Curriculum & Instruction, in the best English Education Program in the world. He is the author of the English Education Professor Blog, and writes a weekly blog on composition pedagogy for Edutopia - The George Lucas Educational Foundation.
His MA in English and PhD in Curriculum & Instructionwere earned at the University of Minnesota. His BA in secondary English and elementary education were obtained at the University of Puget Sound.
He has taught elementary and 8-12th grade English and co-developed the Tar River Writing Project.
Dr. Finley teaches, researches, works with schools and publishes in the field of curriculum, instruction, technology, and collaboration. He lives a ridiculously contented life with his wife, daughter, and several dogs. Newfies have become an obsession.
